Order of St. Luke Order of St. Luke Healing Ministry
The International Order of St. Luke the Physician is an ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian healing ministry with members throughout North America and the world.
Members consist of clergy, health professionals, and lay people who feel called to a ministry of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ's healing power through prayer, study, and service.
Cards requesting prayer are in the back of the pews and can be placed in the box in the Narthex or the offering plate. Members pray for these requests for one month.
As an order, OSL, is a way of life. We meet weekly, on Monday mornings for prayer, and monthly for organizational matters. OSL members and St. James Prayer Ministers are available on a rotating basis on Sunday mornings for healing prayer.
Membership requires a study of the healing ministry of Jesus, and additional books on healing. This process usually takes approximately six months with weekly meetings.
Four new members will be inducted into the Order Spring, 2008.
